Funtastic Week – Toddler Edition

By Nadia V. (Mama and the City)

Things have been very busy at work and in my house. We start a new Fiscal Year and that means we have a lot of planning in deciding our goals and deliverables at work. At home, well, husband’s schedule changed again – now he is working mornings and nights. Routine has changed. And, to make it all better, our daycare provider is on vacation the last two weeks of this month. How fun for me! I now need to make sure I got this one covered as well.

But, despise all of that we managed to find the fun.

This week’s re-cap, in pictures, goes as follow:

“I NEED playing outside, Mommy.”
So, she quickly grabbed her sandals and put them on and ran fast outside. I know, one day I will love explaining the difference between the words Want and Need. But not this time, she can enjoy being a toddler.

“I fix Mommy’s phone?”
Her grandpa just gave her a toy tool kit, considering how much hammering she does with everything she finds her way. He figured if she is doing that, she better do it right. So, what does she wants to do now? Fix my belly button, fix my fingers, fix my eyes and fix my phone. I didn’t know I was that much broken! Something tells me soon I’ll be seeing other kind of tool kits in this house.

“I want sleep in mommy’s bed.”
As long as we know who’s bed is it, that’s all I care. Ahem.

“C’mon, Mommy, I’ll show you.”
Apparently I’ve been doing it all wrong. And, who exercises in this house anyway?

Well, that was some of our fun-tastic highlights of the week. Enough about us, how was your week?
