Elf On The Shelf Does Mexico – Week 1

By Nadia V. (Mama and the City)

We left Canada Dec 1, sick and in very bad shape that as soon as we landed in México we slept the night and went straight to the hospital first thing the following morning. Turned out toddler had Influenza type A. I, on the other hand, was stronger and just ended up with a nasty Laryngitis. Pain, lots of pain. My voice was gone for 4 days. Did I say pain? And pain. Anyway I had it easy compared to my poor Milla. She got poked a couple of times and no luck to find her veins. I had to be strong, no time to cry.

But, my Elf On The Shelf paid the price. I originally intended to do the 25 day challenge – 25 pictures from Dec 1- Dec25. Sadly I couldn’t. But that did not stop me. As soon as we got released form the hospital and made it back home I kept shooting as I saw best.
For this post I have 3 pictures, the rest are on Facebook. I’ll continue to post daily until Dec 25.
Follow on Facebook, I’ll be adding the photos live. Actually everywhere in social media under the hashtag #ElfOnTheShelfDoesMexico, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and Google +
