Anyway. I am trying to prove myself that "hosting" a giveaway in the internet world is totally different. So bare with me and my junior steps towards this task.
My blog is going to be 1 year old - Yay! I know I haven't been as active as I wish I could have been, but I can't change the past so my goal is to remain present in this bloggy world. Even if it takes me 2 posts per month.
My celebration: I was totally going to selfishly celebrate this year by treating myself to a nice dinner or going for a shopping spree; then I thought I could invest it all on my blog by paying someone to redesing the look of it or even move it to WP (it gives me chills thinking of it). I keep hearing a little voice telling me "dude, that's awesome!."
However, I went a different route; my bloggy friends. I love you guys. Really. Kiss kiss. I know how many of us love and enjoy reading Scary Mommy. So, I decided to celebrate this year by providing these awesome prizes to the blogosphere:
1. One-month advertisement in the Scary Mommy site. Worldwide. So, either you are in Asia or in Europe, do no be discoraged by not being able to enter this contest. Youir blog or site will be featured for one-full month in the Scary Mommy site. (value up to $75).
2. One copy of the upcoming Scary Mommy book. Open to US and Canada Only. Because I am buying this book to a lucky winner I would like to keep it "local" so I can guarantee the logistics of this book's arrival (plus the courier cost to be considered).
3. Scary Mommy kindly offered 5 "Scary Mommy Confessions" Apps - 1 for each winner (1 free code to activate it). Worldwide. Isn't it awesome? To read all the confessions on your smart phone in a cleaner and more efficient way. I'm so jelous.

RULES:
- There are individual contest for each prize described above. Join the one that appeals to you. Each one has different requirements (some a must and others are optional).
- For the winners of the app code, it is optional but would be gladly appreciated, if a review of the app can be left at the Apple store after their claim. That to thank Jill, Scary Mommy, for her offer.

- All entries will be verified. Entries that do not follow the rules will be deleted.
- The final winning entry will additionally be rechecked upon being drawn and can still be disqualified if the entry requirements have not been met.
- Winners will be posted online and contacted by e-mail (if available) and must reply within 48 hours or a second winner will be chosen.
CLAUSES:
- A winner would be drawn via Random.com. The contest ends April 13, 2012 (yes, it is that long since Spring break and Easter week holidays gap).
- The 1-month advertisment at ScaryMommy.com and the book "Confessions of a Scary Mommy", are sponsored by me. Therefore their add activation and shipment will be subject to terms of availability or additional terms with vendors in which case the winner will always be fully informed on all the details.
- The usage of the free code to activate the Scary Mommy Confessions app has an expiry of 2 weeks to be activated; therefore, their prompt claim and activation will be responsible on the lucky winners.
- This contest is meant to be fun. It is not meant to be dramatic over a tiny error. I'm human and true to my word. I'll do the best I can to provide the prizes on a timely manner (see point #2). I know we want to enjoy them as soon as we find out we won, trust me I know. However, if you know you are a person who can be affected by the tiniest hiccup, please stay away from this giveaway since I can't guarantee there won't be one. Remember, this is my first giveaway. It is not meant to stress you, or me or my blog over it. I hope you all understand.
